香港藝術家洪強對新媒體 (錄像, 互動藝術)中的時空 (時間空間) 觀念如何承傳到傳
統中國卷軸畫及中文字的時空概念處很感興趣。而中國藝術上的卷軸形式、佈白運
用、立體的概念如何在書寫中文字的過程中被抽象化等等都是藝術家在創作上的原
動力。
洪強嘗試把《道德經 ：第四十二章 》內以「一」的概念去演譯人類生命與天地萬
物的循環關係。從文字的演進去觀察人類文化的發展歷程；亦從文字的發展去看人
類文明的演變；從這演變，亦看出人類與天地萬物，宇宙軌跡的相互關係。
藝術家認為，萬事萬物都會有著自己的宇宙軌跡。正如人的生命一樣，無論多募、
長短，快慢，都是沿著天地萬物間的自然軌跡運行，但所謂的軌跡卻是各自各不同
和各自各精彩。藝術家嘗試以書寫漢字筆劃的過程及新媒體美學概念把中國人天地
間每一個生命的單元，種種彼此相關但又矛盾的生命軌跡，以一個具時間性和空間
性的新媒體藝術表現型式呈現出來。

Signification: A large-scale contemporary art exhibition that gathers the work of 37 Chinese artists from the Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and overseas, will be staged at the Hong Kong Museum of Art, showing the transformation of artistic creation as well as cultural reflection in Chinese contemporary art.
